Role
You will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of Suitmedia, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all financial transactions with local laws and regulations (PSAK-IFRS), and actively contributing to the company's objective of ensuring sustained profitability and financial health.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and comprehensive tax compliance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust accounting policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to local regulations (e.g., tax laws) and International Financial Reporting Standards (PSAK-IFRS).
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all tax payments and filings, including corporate income tax, value-added tax, withholding tax, and other relevant statutory taxes.
- Prepare and meticulously analyze comprehensive financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, statements of changes in equity), providing strategic insights and regular updates to the Board of Directors.
- Coordinate effectively with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate seamless year-end financial statement audits and tax filings.
- Develop, monitor, and manage organizational budgets and financial forecasts, providing insightful analysis and regular updates to the Board of Directors for strategic decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance and accounting professionals, providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and fostering their professional growth.
- Collaborate strategically with other departments within Suitmedia to support business initiatives, provide expert financial insights, and offer data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or tax roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Technical/Hard Skills: Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, PSAK-IFRS, and financial reporting requirements. Proven experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Zahir, Xero, Jurnal, SAP, Oracle Financials) and advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with working proficiency in both English and Indonesian. Proven ability to lead and develop a team, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize projects effectively under pressure.
- Bonus Points: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification. Experience in a digital agency or tech company. Experience with multi-entity or international accounting
