Role

You will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into reliable, optimized, and accessible datamarts, directly empowering our clients and internal teams with high-quality data for robust business intelligence and strategic decision-making. This role demands exceptional SQL expertise and a meticulous approach to data architecture in a dynamic agency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable SQL-based datamarts and data pipelines from diverse raw data sources.
  • Optimize complex SQL queries and data structures for maximum performance, maintainability, and efficiency, ensuring seamless data flow for reporting and analytical needs.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deeply understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
  • Ensure the highest standards of data quality, consistency, and integrity across all datamarts, coupled with comprehensive documentation for data governance.
  • Develop and maintain optimized fact tables and dimensional models that serve as the foundation for our data platform and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Work proficiently with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS Redshift) to build and manage modern data infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or a similar role focused on data warehousing and SQL development.
  • Technical/Hard Skills: Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including advanced concepts (e.g., window functions, CTEs, indexing, stored procedures). Proven experience with dimensional data modeling (star/snowflake schema). Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Fivetran). Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

This position is prioritized for our Jakarta office.
