Role
You will play a pivotal role in uncovering actionable insights and developing sophisticated predictive models to solve complex business challenges for our clients, directly influencing strategic decisions and driving innovative digital solutions. This role demands strong analytical acumen and expertise in machine learning within a dynamic agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets (structured and unstructured) to identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimization and growth.
- Design, build, validate, and refine robust machine learning models (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, time series forecasting) to address specific client problems.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling reports, presentations, and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define problem statements, establish success metrics, and ensure the practical application of data science solutions.
- Work with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments and establish monitoring mechanisms to track performance and ensure ongoing accuracy (if needed).
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, applying cutting-edge techniques to enhance our client offerings.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional experience as a Data Scientist, ideally within a consulting firm or a data-intensive industry.
- Technical/Hard Skills: Expert proficiency in Python or R, with extensive experience using data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Proven experience with the full machine learning lifecycle: data preparation, exploratory data analysis, model development, evaluation, and deployment. Familiarity with cloud ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure Machine Learning).
- Soft Skills: Strong statistical and analytical thinking with a keen ability to derive insights from data. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a curious mindset. Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) to present findings effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Bonus Points: Experience with model deployment and MLOps practices is preferable. Practical experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark) is preferable.
