You will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into intuitive, interactive, and strategically impactful dashboards that empower executive decision-making for our clients. Directly influencing business outcomes, this role demands a strong blend of data visualization expertise and design thinking in a dynamic agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement compelling interactive dashboards and reports using leading business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Collaborate extensively with clients and internal stakeholders to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate complex business requirements into clear, visual data stories.
- Optimize dashboard performance, user experience (UX), and visual aesthetics to ensure maximum usability, engagement, and actionable insights.
- Ensure the highest level of data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all visualizations, working closely with data engineering and analytics teams.
- Iterate on dashboard features and designs based on user feedback and evolving business needs, driving continuous improvement.
- Educate stakeholders on best practices in data visualization and dashboard usage to foster a data-driven culture.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Design, Statistics, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional experience as a Data Visualization Developer, BI Developer, or Strategic Dashboard Developer, ideally within an agency or consulting context.
- Technical/Hard Skills: Expert proficiency in Power BI (including DAX) or similar leading BI tools (Tableau, Looker). Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, principles of good dashboard design, and UI/UX fundamentals for data products. Ability to write efficient SQL queries to extract and prepare data from various sources.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to translate data into meaningful insights. Exceptional client-facing communication and presentation skills (written and verbal). Highly creative with a keen eye for detail and visual storytelling. Strong collaborative mindset.
- Bonus Points: Experience with other BI tools or data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js) is preferably. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts or cloud data platforms is preferably.
