Role
You will gain invaluable hands-on experience by assisting the CTO/COO in supporting Suitmedia's diverse project portfolio, learning foundational project management principles, and contributing to data analysis that informs strategic decisions. This internship is designed to provide practical insights into the full project lifecycle and how projects align with organizational goals in a dynamic digital consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, organization, and basic analysis of project data (including budgets, timelines, resources, and KPIs) to support reporting needs.
- Support resource tracking efforts, contributing to the identification of potential resource overallocation or underutilization across various projects.
- Learn to monitor project progress, assisting in tracking timelines, budgets, and proactively identifying potential risks or deviations from project plans.
- Help in documenting and refining project reporting processes, and conduct research on leading project management best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the CTO/COO and various project teams, including maintaining comprehensive documentation, and preparing presentations.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (preferably 3rd or 4th year undergraduate) in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: No prior professional experience required, but prior academic projects or internships involving data analysis, project coordination, or organizational tasks are a strong plus.
- Technical/Hard Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) with a basic understanding of data organization and analytical concepts. Familiarity with project management concepts and principles is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to contributing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus Points: Any exposure to project management software (e.g., Basecamp, Jira, Trello) Demonstrated interest in digital agency operations or technology consulting.
