Role
You will play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering innovative, agile, and visually compelling web and mobile applications that prioritize rapid prototyping, responsiveness, and seamless client experiences for Suitmedia's diverse clientele. This role demands creative problem-solving and adaptable technical leadership in a dynamic agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the backend development of robust and scalable web and mobile applications, emphasizing rapid prototyping, responsive design, and exceptional user experience.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior software engineers, fostering best practices, conducting rigorous code reviews, and promoting continuous learning within the team.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and project managers to translate creative and business objectives into high-quality technical solutions.
- Ensure timely and on-scope delivery of applications, maintaining adherence to project plans, client expectations, and Suitmedia's quality standards.
- Maintain and enhance existing web and mobile applications, continuously optimizing technical performance and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Actively contribute to architectural discussions and system design, advocating for agile, responsive, and innovative technical solutions that meet evolving client needs.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in developing web and/or mobile applications. Proven experience in delivering high-quality, client-facing digital products within an agency or product-driven environment.
- Technical/Hard Skills: Excellent analytical and programming skills with strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel), Python (Django), or TypeScript (NestJS). Solid understanding of MVC frameworks, API development, and database management. Knowledgeable in Linux environments and familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP system administration.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a collaborative mindset. Eager to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Bonus Points: Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js). Familiarity with CI/CD practices. Contributions to open-source projects.
