Role
You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality web-based applications and websites for Suitmedia's clients. This role serves as a crucial bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, demanding strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of web system architecture.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and discovery to thoroughly understand client business needs, user requirements, and desired outcomes for web solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, comprehensive software specifications and functional design documents for web applications.
- Design the information architecture, user flows, and wireframes from a functional perspective, outlining the structure and interaction patterns of web systems.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance (QA) throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring solutions adhere to requirements, approved designs, and industry best practices.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation (e.g., functional specifications, user manuals, process flows) tailored for various stakeholders including developers, designers, and clients.
- Gather and analyze data and feedback from end-users to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of existing web systems.
- Analyze analytics and business data to create insightful reports that inform decision-making and measure system effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with development, UX/UI, and account teams to ensure seamless translation of requirements into robust web solutions.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 2-4 years of proven experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in the development and delivery of web applications.
- Technical/Hard Skills: Excellent analytical skills, covering requirements gathering, problem understanding, and solution design. Good technical knowledge in MVC (Model-View-Controller) framework, ER (Entity-Relationship) models, and OO (Object-Oriented) design principles. Familiarity with web technologies and development lifecycles.
- Soft Skills: Good sense of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Detail-oriented, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
- Bonus Points: Basic programming skills are a plus. Experience with specific web development frameworks or CMS platforms. Familiarity with project management software.
