Challenges: Improve Digital Presence and Give Fresh Appearance for IAEI Website
IAEI Indonesia is an organization of academics and practitioners to conduct studies, development, education and socialization of Islamic Economics. The organization aspires to serve as a platform for experts in Islamic Economics committed to advancing and implementing Sharia Economics in Indonesia. Currently, IAEI needs website revamp due to the outdated UI/UX and they need to introduce new features, including a digital library that can be accessed by the public.
The existing website faces challenges in terms of systems and databases, such as an influx of spam and underutilized systems with errors. Additionally, improvements are required in the management of the DPP IAEI website, focusing on user interface enhancements and the development of supporting features like the member registration and e-library. The primary goal of the website revamp is to refresh its appearance and augment or introduce features that enhance the functionality of the previous version.
Solutions: Implementation of Comprehensive Website Revamp with Suitmedia’s 4D Approach
In addressing these requirements, Suitmedia uses a 4D approach which consists of data collection, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and performance measurement of the implementation. We redesigned the website, enhancing both the system and database, revamping the interface design, implementing new features, and updating the domain. Through the 4D approach, Suitmedia aims to devise a strategy that encompasses enhancements to the website system, changes to UI/UX design, the introduction of the member registration feature that displays the registration form and e-libraries, with a more fitting domain alteration. The objective is not only to address current issues but also to enhance the overall functionality of the website in alignment with IAEI's vision of becoming a focal point for Islamic Economic development in Indonesia.
Results: Enhanced User Experience through IAEI Professional Website Appearance
Following the implementation of a website revamp, the present IAEI website exhibits a rejuvenated appearance and offers an enhanced user experience. Furthermore, this initiative in website revamping ensures convenient accessibility for both members and the general user base, aligning seamlessly with IAEI's overarching vision of serving as a hub for the advancement of Islamic Economics in Indonesia.
